I started watching Buffy at 10 yo and I am so jealous of your 12 yo. We were already in season 2, the boys at my after school camp taped it and my mom agreed my sister and I could watch it with her. We have the 2.5 year age gap and we still have the complete inability to compromise with our boys (6.5 and 4 yo). My MIL had 3 boys in a 5.5 year period and will tell me “encouraging” things like oh it will probably get better when your oldest is 16! Or maybe when he goes to college! 🤦🏻♀️
Dude, we’re in the exact same boat. 12 and 7. They used to be able to watch (and do) a lot of the same things. Though they’re not as close as they used to be, I’m hoping they can hang onto their friendship as our older one enters his teens 🤷♂️
Nooooo not Firefly, why put him through this loss🥺 so sad! Now I never start watching a show in it's first season because of this trauma! Buffy Rewatch is now on my list.
