Another day, another deadline

A few weeks ago, I came on this Friday newsletter and crowed about my late-surging success at writing my book. I was oh so close.

In fact, I was right. I finished it (and I was forced to skip writing last Friday’s newsletter to manage), and I sent it off to my editor and clapped my hands together and celebrated. Then I waited for her response.

Her response? You’re not done yet. Here’s another deadline.

Turns out I was not, in fact, right, because I was not, in fact, finished. D’oh!
